Junior Puppy
This class is aimed at puppies that have completed the Young Puppy programme. The Junior Puppy classes build on the training commands, methods and exercises introduced during the Young Puppy programme. It continues the training during your puppy's adolescent period, which can sometimes be difficult!
Our small group classes include a mix of educational, fun and practical training methods with an Instructor who supports and encourages you and your puppy.
This programme covers:-
• Heelwork on and off lead
• Lie flat
• Longer and further distance stays
• Stays around distractions
• Longer and off lead recalls
• Off lead together recalls
• Recalls from distractions
• Introducing a whistle
• Drop on command - to a whistle or verbal command
• Retrieve work
• Find it - on a whistle or verbal command
• Problem solving techniques to exercise minds as well as bodies
• Fun elements and training games relevant to age
Detailed handouts are available at the end of each class for you to take away and practice the exercises and training games at home.
